1. Identification details

The CarpRun mobile application and the carprun.app website are owned and operated by the Reel Squad team, hereinafter referred to as "the application owner".

2. Definitions

Within this document, the terms shall have the following meanings:

"We", "our", "ours", "CarpRun"

Refers to the Reel Squad team, which develops and operates the CarpRun application.

"Application"

Refers to the CarpRun mobile application, available on Google Play, as well as to the carprun.app website and to all features, services and content offered through them.

"User", "you", "your"

Any natural person who downloads, installs, creates an account or uses the CarpRun application. The User implicitly agrees to comply with these rules and is responsible for their actions within the application.

"Service"

Providing the User with access to the features of the CarpRun application, including rod management, the catch journal, baiting sessions, statistics, cloud sync and other digital tools dedicated to carp fishing.

"Account"

The personal profile created by the User in the application, through which they access their data and use the synchronized features.

"PRO Version"

The paid package of premium features, accessible through a one-time purchase via Google Play Billing.

The CarpRun application is a digital assistant for anglers passionate about carp fishing, providing tools for managing fishing sessions, recording catches with automatic weather data, monitoring baiting and analyzing personal statistics.

3. User registration

3.1 Creating an account

An account is required to use the CarpRun application. Registration is done through:

• Email address and password; or
• Google account authentication.

3.2 User obligations upon registration

To benefit from the services offered, you agree and warrant:

1. To provide true, accurate and complete information about yourself, according to the registration form;
2. To maintain and update the registration data so that it is at all times consistent with reality;
3. Not to create multiple accounts fraudulently or in order to circumvent the application's restrictions.

The application owner reserves the right (but not the obligation) to verify the accuracy of the data provided. If inaccurate information is found, we reserve the right to refuse access to services or to suspend the account.

3.3 Account security

The account can be accessed using a password known only to you. You are fully responsible for:

• Keeping your password and authentication details secure;
• All operations performed through your account;
• Not disclosing authentication details to third parties;
• Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.

An account provides access to the application for a single person.

3.4 Minimum age

3.5 Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

Acceptance of the Terms and Conditions is confirmed by:

• Ticking the corresponding checkbox during account creation;
• Using the application after first installation;
• Making a payment for the PRO version.

You are responsible for checking the updated version of the Terms and Conditions whenever you use the application.

4. Use of the application and user conduct

The application may be used exclusively for: managing your own fishing sessions, recording catches, monitoring baiting, analyzing personal statistics and using the other features offered. The application may not be used for:

• Illegal or fraudulent payments;
• Recording false data for fraudulent purposes or to manipulate statistics;
• Posting or transmitting defamatory, threatening, obscene or indecent material;
• Content or comments that could damage our reputation.

We reserve the right to immediately delete, without notice, any content that breaches these rules, as well as to suspend or close accounts that repeatedly break the rules.

5. Required permissions

For the application to function as a complete fishing assistant, we will request the following permissions on your phone:

• Location (GPS): We use location data exclusively to import and display accurate weather conditions in the area where you are fishing. We do not track you for any other purpose and we do not store location history.
• Battery management and alarms: So you don't miss a single bite or baiting session, the application needs to run in the background and bypass aggressive battery optimization imposed by the operating system.
• Camera and photo gallery: We request access strictly so you can take photos of your catches, attach them to your journal and save them along with the session details.

6. PRO version and payment methods

6.1 PRO features

CarpRun is free for essential features. The application offers a PRO version through a one-time purchase, which unlocks:

• Advanced statistics (top lakes, top baits, top rods, advanced filtering);
• CSV export of the entire history;
• Unlimited history of sessions and catches;
• Weather conditions (temperature, pressure, wind).

6.2 Prices

The prices displayed on Google Play include VAT, are set entirely by the application owner, are non-negotiable and may be subject to changes (a right reserved exclusively to the owner). The price displayed at the time of purchase is the final price you will pay.

6.3 Payment methods

All payments are processed exclusively and securely through Google Play Billing. CarpRun does not have access to your bank card details and does not store financial information.

We are not responsible for incorrect processing of payment or for errors recorded through Google's payment system.

6.4 Invoicing

For each purchase, the tax invoice is issued and available through your Google Play account. For specific invoicing requests, you can contact us directly.

7. Refund policy

7.1 Refund requests

Any refund request for the PRO version is subject to the standard policies of the Google Play store and must be initiated through your Google account.

7.2 Digital content

Legal basis: art. 16 letter m) of GEO 34/2014.

8. Copyright and intellectual property

8.1 Protected content

The entire content of the application and website — source code, design, texts, images, graphics, scripts, logos, symbols, audio-video materials, the badge system and any other elements — is the exclusive property of the Reel Squad team or its suppliers and is protected under Copyright Law and intellectual and industrial property laws.

8.2 Usage restrictions

As a user, you do not have the right to:

• Modify the application or website partially or in full;
• Reproduce, copy, sell or exploit the application in any way;
• Distribute, transmit, display or publish content without written consent;
• Decompile, reverse engineer or extract the source code;
• Create derivative products based on the application;
• Remove markings, logos or any identifying elements;
• Use automated devices (bots, scripts) to interact with our services.

8.3 License granted to the User

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use the CarpRun application for its intended purposes, under the terms of these Terms and Conditions. This license does not transfer ownership of the application or any part of it.

8.4 Reporting infringement

To report infringement of intellectual property rights, you can contact us at [email protected]. The unauthorized use of any elements of the application is punishable under applicable laws.

9. User content

9.1 Rights over your own data

The catches, photos, notes, sessions and data you enter in the application belong entirely to you. CarpRun does not claim any ownership rights over this data and does not use it for commercial purposes without your explicit consent.

9.2 Technical license granted

By using the cloud sync feature, you grant us the minimum technical permission necessary to store, transfer and display this data on your devices. This license terminates automatically when the account is deleted.

9.3 Anonymized data

We may use aggregated and anonymized data (catch rates, baits used, time periods) to improve the application and generate global statistics that help the angling community, without this data ever being associated with your identity.

10. Prohibited uses

In addition to other restrictions provided, it is prohibited to use the application or its content:

1. For any illegal purpose;
2. To solicit other persons to perform or participate in illegal acts;
3. To violate any national or European regulations, rules, laws or ordinances;
4. To infringe our intellectual property rights or those of others;
5. To harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, intimidate or discriminate on any grounds;
6. To submit false or misleading information;
7. To upload or transmit viruses or any other code that affects the application's functionality;
8. To collect or track the personal information of other users;
9. For spam, phishing, scraping or other unauthorized automated activities;
10. For any obscene or immoral purpose;
11. To interfere with or circumvent the security features of the application.

We reserve the right to suspend or close your account in case of any prohibited use.

11. Limitation of liability

11.1 General limitations

The Reel Squad team and its collaborators do not make any representation, promise or guarantee regarding fishing results obtained through the use of the application. CarpRun is an organization and analysis tool — we do not guarantee catches, weights or success on the bank.

11.2 Risk assumption by the user

11.3 Specific exclusions

We are not responsible for:

• Situations where GPS signal or internet connection is unavailable on the bank;
• Alarms not triggering due to restrictive phone settings (extreme power saving modes, manufacturer-imposed restrictions);
• Loss of data caused by failure to comply with the minimum security measures of your account;
• Material, financial or other damages resulting from the use of the application;
• Errors, omissions, interruptions, defects or delays in operation or transmission;
• Theft, destruction or unauthorized access to data caused by breaches of the user's account;
• The content, accuracy or practices of third-party sites linked from within the application.

11.4 Weather data

The weather data displayed in the application is sourced from third-party providers and is informative. We do not guarantee 100% accuracy of this data and we do not assume responsibility for decisions made solely on its basis.

12. Service availability

We do everything possible to ensure that the CarpRun application works without interruption, however we do not guarantee 100% availability of the service. We may carry out planned interruptions for maintenance, updates or infrastructure improvements.

We will try to inform you in advance whenever possible, through in-app notifications or by email.

13. Force majeure and unforeseen circumstances

We will not be held responsible for delays or failures in performing services in the event of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances, which include, without limitation:

• Changes in laws or regulations;
• Disruptions of Google infrastructure (Firebase, Play Billing);
• Wars, acts of terrorism, riots;
• Fires, earthquakes, nuclear accidents, floods;
• Strikes, extreme weather conditions;
• Cyberattacks by hackers or issues with internet service providers.

14. Notifications and communications

The User agrees that all communications under this contract shall take place via email, at the address [email protected], or via push notifications in the application. Such communication is valid through simple proof from the application owner of its sending.

15. Complaints procedure

Any dissatisfaction related to access, use, registration or other similar aspects shall be communicated to us directly by email at [email protected].

The complaint will be registered and you will receive a written response, at the email address mentioned, within a maximum of 10 working days.

16. Changes to Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to make changes at any time regarding the content of the application, policy, terms and conditions of use. We will make efforts to inform users about significant changes through in-app notifications or by email.

If you do not agree with the changes, please stop using the application. Continued use is equivalent to accepting the changes.

17. Applicable law and disputes

This agreement, as well as any use of the application, is governed by Romanian law.

The parties shall attempt to resolve any disagreement amicably. Otherwise, disputes shall be settled by the competent courts of Romania.

18. Final clauses

These terms govern the access of Users to the CarpRun application and the carprun.app website. In the event that additional features or services are subsequently implemented, they will be subject to the same rules and conditions, except where they benefit from distinct conditions.

By using the application, you accept the conditions described and agree that these documents have the value of a contract tacitly accepted between the User and the application owner.

These Terms and Conditions are supplemented by the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy. In case of contradictions, the special provisions of the other documents take priority.
